Zero Effluent Reverse Osmosis Technology®
ZERO® provides ultimate design flexibility to treat relatively clean or heavily contaminated municipal and industrial water and effluents.
The process treats contaminated brackish water containing iron, manganese, arsenic, high levels of organics, sulfides and high hardness.
The effective pretreatment includes coarse filtration and chemical oxidation, followed by ultrafiltration.
The high recovery reverse osmosis step achieves greater than 95% for influent TDS of 1000 to 2000 ppm.
ZERO® achieves very low THM in the disinfected drinking water product.
ZERO® is an all membrane solution with minimal use of chemicals.
The process is ideal for zero liquid discharge applications.
